CAP founder, Mike Cody, was introduced to the entertainment production business as a youngster appearing in feature musical films. His on-the-job education included performing, choreographing and directing throughout the magnificent era of television variety shows. During the 1970's, Mr. Cody's use of video to present a popular singing act, consequently, created one of the first music videos. In the 80's, his desire to explore new technologies resulted in a critically acclaimed theater production utilizing lasers. For four decades, Cody and his team of "Associates" have mounted unique theatrical productions.and because of that.......
CAP HAS INFLUENCED THE STAGE SHOW INDUSTRY
Cody & Associates Productions moved it's base operations to Las Vegas in 1984 to help create a new generation of spectacular production shows beginning with The Riviera Hotel's SPLASH and including SIEGFRIED & ROY, BEYOND BELIEF at The Mirage. Since more complex technical designs require efficient production operations and administration, CAP has became the expert in Production Management. Mr. Cody and key personnel have created entertainment departments for performance venues world-wide to efficiently operate these multi-million dollar productions.
By the end of the 90's, CAP collaborated in the design of two amphitheaters and a concert hall and supervised the technical construction of the New York New York Theater. Since the start of a new millennium, So far, for the new mellinium, Cody and crew have married computer and live stage technologies to create multi-media designs for lasvegas.com, designed entertainment operations for IGC THEATERS and produced a documentary for THE VIRGINIA PROJECT. CAP also wrote, produced and directed staged a unique gymnastics-on-ice spectacular in HARBIN, CHINA.
Currently, CAP is producing an "edutainment" project called TAP MASTER for release and performance in 2013.

Memorable moments have included set designs and magic illusions instead of convention booths, an indoor New Years Eve laser-effects show and a cocktail party for 10,000 (including movie sets, production numbers and circus acts).
